Dear Joel, every time I see an interview with you, read about you or look at your Photographs — I keep wondering if you really are a god, who came down to this planet from another world. Through your Photography you make people revisit a lot of things. You teach compassion and appreciation. No, “teach” is a wrong word. You Whisper into very souls, you speak to hearts, bypassing “controlling” minds of consciousness.
I am not much into people any more. For almost 20 years I was trying to run away from people, escape, distance… But you explained to me that we all Are people, we want it or not. We Are people, we belong with people. We have out values aligned with people, by people. We are nothing without people.
I will keep repeating this inside my heart. It gives me a lot of strength!
